Key Responsibilities Track and analyze local mineral resource development policies (including mining permits, environmental regulations, foreign investment rules) and geological survey data to stay ahead of industry trends. Assess mineral resource reserves, mining technologies, and full supply chain stages (mining → smelting → processing → export), identifying current conditions and future trends. Conduct project-specific risk assessments for mining and investment opportunities, incorporating local enterprise and industry contexts; prepare clear, professional risk assessment reports. Evaluate geopolitical, policy, and regulatory risks and their effects on mineral supply chains; highlight investment risks and opportunities. Produce well-structured research reports with data charts, policy interpretations, and real-world case studies. Deliver regular industry updates, policy early warnings, and actionable market recommendations to the team. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or higher in Geology, Mining Engineering, International Trade, International Relations, or a related field. Strong familiarity with local critical minerals market; government, policy research, or corporate strategy experience is highly preferred. Proven background in mineral resource evaluation, policy analysis, or industry research is a strong plus. Fluent English skills — ability to read English-language technical literature and write professional, publication-quality reports in English. Excellent analytical thinking, logical reasoning, and policy interpretation abilities. High sense of ownership and responsibility; proven track record of independently completing high-quality projects on deadline. Compensation This is a project-based freelance opportunity with compensation determined through mutual consultation between both parties. Fees are based on project scope, duration (number of project days), complexity, and your experience level. Typical project reward: $300 – $1,000 USD per completed project. Final payment reflects the quality, depth, and timeliness of deliverables, with potential for performance bonuses.
